MOR adds a one-call anonymous dial prefix, voicemail greeting upload, and CDR exports you can download from the server. The API can edit a whitelist reason, set daily balance warnings, set device PAI, return the user comment, and return the call id for Call Info.
M4 adds header transformation on traffic received from the termination point, copy for connection points, dial peers, and tariffs, and CDR exports kept on the server. The Tariff Generator can leave blocked destinations out of a generated tariff.
MOR
API
- Whitelisted IP reason — the Reason on an existing whitelisted IP can be edited in the GUI and with API v2, without deleting the address and adding it again. API v2 whitelisted IPs
- Daily balance limit warnings —
user_details_updatecan set the daily balance warning, the warning threshold, and the emails to the user or reseller. Those fields were available only on the user form. Daily Balance Limit - User comment in user details —
user_details_getreturns the user Comment, the same fielduser_details_updatestores. - Device PAI —
device_updatecan set the custom P-Asserted-Identity number, Localize PAI, Pass PAI, and PAI transformation. - Call id on call lists —
user_calls_getand API v2 calls include the call id, so a UniqueID lookup can open Call Info for that call. API v2 calls
Major Enhancements
Calling
- Anonymous dial prefix — SETTINGS → Various takes a prefix such as
31. Dial that prefix before the number and this call goes out with an anonymous From: Diversion, PAI, RPID, and PPI are removed,Privacy: idis added, the prefix is stripped before routing, and the real CallerID stays on the CDR. Leave the prefix empty to turn the option off.
Voicemail
- Voicemail greeting upload — a user with the greeting-upload permission can upload a WAV or MP3 for the Unavailable and Busy greetings on the device. Device settings User permissions
CDR export
- CDR export files on the server — Last Calls and automatic template exports can stay on disk and be downloaded from CDR export files with a private link. The email attaches the archive only when that option is on and the file is under 10 MB. FTP and SFTP delivery still uploads the file and then removes the local copy. API v2 CDR export files
Admin time
- Admin timezone clock — the admin GUI shows the current date and time in the timezone set on the admin’s Personal Details.
Additional Improvements
Users
- Static source whitelist direction — a user’s static source whitelist can apply to outgoing CallerID, incoming CallerID, or both directions.
user_details_updatecan set the same choice. API user details update
Devices
- Grace time on virtual devices — Advanced settings on a virtual device include Grace Time, as on a SIP device.
- DTMF mode label — the DTMF mode label in the GUI reads rfc4733. The stored value and the API value remain rfc2833.
CDR and Last Calls
- Origin Country on CDR export — Origin Country is looked up only when the export template includes that column. Templates that leave the column out skip that lookup.
- Last Calls status filter — Call Status is a set of checkboxes, so the list and the CDR export can include several dispositions at once (for example Answered, No Answer, and Busy, without Failed).
Number Pools
- Number Pool name search — the Number Pools list can be filtered by the pool’s name.
Bug Fix Report
- Recording download token — a recording file could be opened from its URL with no login. Download links use a token, and the API recording URL includes that token when the file exists. API recordings get
- Recording quality-test email — the quality-test message is sent as HTML.
- Reseller local CDR — a reseller’s local CDR showed the terminator username and device even when that terminator belonged to another reseller or to the admin. That identity is omitted in that case.
- CallerID localization and Number Pool — CallerID localization ran on the original number before a random number was taken from the pool. A setting can localize the number chosen from the pool. The default is still to localize first.
- Email TLS setting — outbound email used TLS auto even when TLS was set to no. Sending follows the GUI setting: no, yes, or auto.
- Email failure text — a failed send could leave an empty error. The mailer’s error text is included in the failure.
- Postpaid users and subscription count — “Do not block POSTPAID User when balance goes below zero on subscription count” was ignored for users under a reseller, and those users were still blocked. The check uses the admin value of that setting.
- Emoji in email templates — saving an email template stopped at an emoji, so the emoji and the text after it were lost. The template now stores the emoji and the rest of the body.
- Queue periodic announcement — on the current Asterisk, a queue did not play its periodic announcement. The announcement plays again.
- Provider rules after a skipped provider — when routing skipped some providers, rules from a skipped provider could apply to the provider that carried the call. Each provider keeps its own rules.
M4
Major Enhancements
Termination Points
- Header transformations from the termination point — a Termination Point can apply a header-transformation group to requests and responses received from the TP (Header Transformations from TP). The existing group is labeled Header Transformations to TP. Header transformation rules
Configuration
- Duplicate connection points, dial peers, and tariffs — you can copy a Connection Point, a Dial Peer, or a Tariff and save the copy as a new entry. Dial Peers Tariffs
CDR export
- CDR export files on the server — Calls List and automatic template exports can stay on disk and be downloaded from CDR export files with a private link. The email attaches the archive only when that option is on and the file is under 10 MB. FTP and SFTP delivery still uploads the file and then removes the local copy. Automatic CDR export
Additional Improvements
Connection points
- Route via the registering server — when more than one proxy is active, a dynamic connection point can send the call to the proxy that holds the registration (Yes), keep the direct path (No), or follow the global default (Global). The global default is Settings → Various → Route dynamic CP via registered server, and it defaults to No. Settings
CDR logging
- Per-user CDR logging — each user can set whether to skip cached refused CDRs, skip failed CDRs, skip failed CDRs with hangup cause 300 or higher, and log only the last attempt.
DIDs
- DID tags on CSV import — a DID CSV import can set tag IDs from the file, in the same import as the other DID columns.
Users
- Origination Point password for users — an end user can see the username and password of a dynamic-IP Origination Point on Connection Points, unless device passwords are hidden for users.
Tariffs
- Tariff Generator skips blocked destinations — with the option on (the default), prefixes that are blocked on any selected source dial peer or tariff are left out of the generated tariff. This applies when generating a new tariff and when writing rates into an existing tariff. With the option off, blocked source rates can still be included.
Bug Fix Report
- Termination Point CPS across Kamailio servers — each Kamailio counted TP call and CPS limits on its own, so the measured CPS was wrong. system.conf can point the other servers at the main server’s counters so the limits are shared.
- Future flat-rate activation — a flat-rate subscription whose activation date was in the future did not start. It starts on that date.
- Crash when creating a dial peer — creating a dial peer could crash the core. A new dial peer is created without that crash.
- Tariff Generator and CLI groups — the generator ignored CLI groups, so rates that differ only by CLI group were not built correctly. It now matches on prefix and CLI group, including when it replaces rates that share the same effective-from time.
- Emoji in email templates — an email template that contained an emoji saved only the text before that emoji. The emoji and the following text are stored with the template.
